How to get listed on Packagist
- Add a composer.json with a homepage field to the public repo and run composer validate.
- Log in or register on Packagist (GitHub login works).
- Open Submit, paste the public repository URL and confirm the vendor/package name.
- Tag a release and enable the GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket hook to pick up updates on push.

Good to know
Package page links, including Homepage, carry nofollow and ugc. The vendor/package name cannot be changed later, so only submit a PHP package you actually ship.

Are Packagist links dofollow?
No. Packagist marks its links rel="nofollow", so they pass little ranking value. They still bring visitors and help show your business is real.

How much work does a listing on Packagist take?
