What Ansi’s modes do, and which ones are live
Modes change how Ansi asks and answers: research with citations, runnable code, shopping, trends, visits and more. Some are open now, some are in testing, and some are still planned.
Updated
What a mode is
Every mode has a three-letter code and does one kind of job. Chat (GAI) is the default. Some modes change the answer in the chat; others open their own page inside Ansi; a few run behind the scenes on every answer.
What the labels mean
- Open now
- You can open it today. A Preview tag means it is still being tested, so expect rough edges.
- In testing
- Still being tested and cannot be opened directly yet. Ask in chat meanwhile.
- Built in
- Works inside other modes on every answer, so there is nothing to switch to.
- Team console
- Used by approved team members from the Anslation console.
- Coming soon
- Not built yet. Until it ships, the chat answers these questions in its usual format.
Every mode, today
Open now6
- GAIChatAsk anything in your own words and get a direct answer, a draft or code, with sources when it searches the web and memory of what you told it. Answers can still be wrong, so check anything important before you act on it.
- ACRCode RunnerPreviewDescribe a program and get runnable code with install steps, the run command and the expected output; simple Python and JavaScript also run right in your browser. Code that needs packages, typed input or the internet will not run there.
- ASHShopping HelperPreviewTell it what you need and your budget, and get a top pick and alternatives, each price with the store and date it was seen, plus trade-offs and a before-you-buy checklist. Prices come from a web search on that date, so check the store before you pay.
- AGPGenerative PagePreviewType a topic, like car insurance, and get a full page about it inside Ansi, with sections built for that subject. Topics without a page of their own get a general page.
- ATSTrend ScannerType a topic, add others to compare, and see how interest moves over time, related searches and where interest is highest, then share or export the view. The public trend lines are a modeled preview, not measured search volume.
- AVMVisit MatePreviewName a place and get its weather, nearby spots, a route on the map and estimated fares from ride apps, then hand the ride to the app to book. It covers a hand-picked list of Delhi NCR places for now.
In testing2
- AIRIntelligent ResearchAsk a question that needs current facts and get an answer built from several web sources, each with a citation you can open. An answer is only as good as the sources the search finds.
- AIMImage MakerDescribe the picture you want and get a concept preview with a detailed prompt, style, colors and size that you can copy. Today it draws a simple concept, not a finished photo or logo.
Team console2
- AWAWorkflow AgentApproved team members describe a task, and Ansi matches it to product actions their access allows, runs them and logs each one. Risky actions wait for someone to approve them first.
- ATNTraining NotebookApproved trainers teach Ansi the exact answer to a question, test it on other ways of asking, and review answers people flagged. Every change is checked for clashes with existing answers and logged.
Built in4
- AQGQuality GuardBefore an answer reaches you, Ansi checks it for thin, off-topic or wrong-language replies and missing sources, and retries or repairs one that fails. It checks how an answer is built, not whether every fact is true.
- ARMReply MechanicUnder the latest answer, tap Regenerate, Shorter answer or More detail, and Ansi writes a new version that way. It works on the latest answer only, and a new version is another try, not a sure improvement.
- ALMLearning MemoryWhen your question closely matches one Ansi already answered well, it reuses that answer so replies stay consistent, and it sets aside answers people mark down. Personal details you share are never reused as answers for anyone else.
- APMPersonalization ModelAnsi notes the topics you search and click and uses them to tailor answers and generated pages to you. It learns nothing until you allow analytics, and Do Not Track keeps it off.
Coming soon7
- ACPComparison PanelWhen it ships, name two or more options and get them side by side on the points that matter, with a verdict for your needs. It will compare what sources say, not test the products itself.
- ARRReview ReaderWhen it ships, name a product or service and get what reviewers praise, what they complain about most, and how opinion leans overall. It will summarize published reviews, so it cannot vouch for any single one.
- APAProduct AdvisorWhen it ships, describe what you need and your budget and get a short list that fits, with the trade-off behind each option. It will suggest from what it can find, not from every product on sale.
- ABWBlog WriterWhen it ships, give a topic and get an outline, a full draft and FAQ answers ready to edit. It will draft from your brief, so facts and figures will still need your check.
- AAMAd MakerWhen it ships, describe your product and buyers and get ad headlines, hooks and a campaign brief in several versions. It will write the ads, not run or pay for them.
- ASESEO EngineWhen it ships, name a business or page and get grouped search keywords, topics you are missing, and ready page titles and descriptions. It will suggest changes, not edit your website.
- ADMData MapperWhen it ships, it will pull data from sources a team connects, tidy it and hand it to other modes as ready context. It will only read sources someone has connected and allowed.
For example questions and a button to open each mode, see What Ansi can do.
