Ansi

How to ask Ansi a good question

Say what you want, who it is for and any limits like a budget or a place. Then follow up, or use the actions under an answer to make it shorter, longer or different.

On this page
  1. Say what you actually need
  2. Questions that work well
  3. Follow up instead of starting over
  4. Rework an answer

Say what you actually need

Ansi answers the question it is given, so the details you add shape the answer you get. Three things help most:

The goal
What you will do with the answer: decide, learn, write or buy.
The limits
A budget, a city, a deadline, a word count, a language.
The shape
A short answer, a table, steps, or runnable code.

NoteInstead of “laptop”, try “best laptop for a CA student under ₹60,000”.

Questions that work well

  • Explain GST input tax credit in simple words
  • What are the current UPI transaction limits? Cite sources
  • Python script to rename the photos in a folder by the date they were taken
  • Air fryer for a family of four under ₹8,000

Follow up instead of starting over

Ansi keeps the conversation, so you can say “shorter”, “now compare it with the other one” or “explain the second point” without repeating yourself.

Rework an answer

Under the latest answer, choose Regenerate, Shorter answer or More detail, and Ansi writes a new version that way. A new version is another try, not a sure improvement, so compare the two.

If an answer misses, choose Fix and pick what went wrong, such as Too short, Wrong or Not relevant. Ansi records it, and answers people mark down stop being reused. Use Regenerate for a new version.
