What it does

Organize local notebooks, outlines and meeting decisions.

Step 1: Select Get. The install screen lists what Notes can access before you add it.
Step 2: Then select Open: Notes starts in its own workspace.
Step 3: It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download.

Story and Board share notes and manuscript exports; recover notes and versions in Trash.
Attach originals, reuse saved files and download a complete notebook ZIP.
Restore ZIP backups into a new or empty notebook; JSON snapshots contain references only.
Link actions to device-local Tasks.
Import earlier Plot and Sticky notes without removing originals.
Account synchronization and collaboration are not available.

Notes and drafts stay in this browser. Optional dictation may use the browser vendor speech service; there is no account synchronization.

Keep notes, versions, Trash, story/board references, import receipts, original attachment files and linked Tasks in this browser.
