What it does
Import selected originals into this browser.
How to start
Step 1: Select Get. The install screen lists what Files can access before you add it.
Step 2: Then select Open: Files starts in its own workspace.
Step 3: It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download.
Good to know
Organize folders, rename display labels, search, move selections, download originals and restore items from Trash.
Complete Files ZIP backups include retained originals and earlier metadata-only import receipts; restore requires an empty Files volume.
Earlier shared document records import only after explicit selection and remain unchanged at their source.
Files are browser-local, not account-isolated or cloud-synced; clearing site data or browser eviction can remove them.
No sharing links, OCR or document editing are included.

Keep selected original bytes, folder labels, Trash and earlier-record import receipts in this browser. JSON browser backups exclude this volume; use the complete Files ZIP backup.
